 After lightening up the rotating mass of the car with the 14lb OZ Rims, and changing from the SVT Brake kit to a 2-piece aluminum hat and rotor with significantly lighter 4-piston Wilwood caliper, we turn to the engine bay to see what weight is really unnecessary. We searched around for what might be the best dollar/mass/size option and decided to go with a No-Weight absorbed glass mat (AGM) battery from Braille Auto . The nice thing about the AGM type sealed batteries is that they don't require any maintenance and they can be mounted sideways or even upsidedown if you wanted to.
